Ray Paul grew up in Rockford and – except for four years in college – has lived in Rockford his whole life. Rockford (or a Midwestern town awfully like it) is the background for many of his stories and novels. Ray has written a number of well-received short stories. He decided to write a novel and ended up with a trilogy: Cabbage Requiem, Between the Rows and A New Season. Writer Sandi Adams sat down with Ray to talk about his books and his writing style.
