Joel Baer Interviewed for Artist Spotlight

Drummer Joel Baer stopped by the WBOM studios to talk with Pamela Scott about his music and his upcoming show at the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center. The interview – along with selections of his music – will be featured on Artist Spotlight on Saturday, September 21 at 7:00 am with a rebroadcast on Sunday, September 22 at 6:00 pm.

Emerald Wind to be Featured on Performance

The duo Emerald Wind celebrated the release of their third CD (entitled “Journey with Your Heart”) by hosting a free concert at the Starr Center on Sunday, July 21st. The concert included appearances by local musicians and mentors: Ron Holm and Jannie Nelson (Trinadora), Danny McDade (Danny’s Gone Rogue) and Jodi Beach along with her husband, Jim McDowell.

WBOM recorded the concert for a future episode of Performance. Performance airs Sunday nights at 7:00 pm and features complete concerts from local venues, including the various stages of the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center. In Print Radio – Crime Fiction Panel

The Brigham Memorial Library in Sharon, Wisconsin, hosted a Crime Fiction Panel on Saturday, July 13 with authors Sandy Colbert and Kristin Oakley.

They discussed the research required to write their books, and answered questions from the audience. The panel presentation was recorded by WBOM for a future episode of In Print Radio.
