Midnight Oil was an Australian band the started in the 1970s. They came to prominence in their native Australia in the early 1980s with a mix of hard rocking music and political activism. In 1987, their album “Diesel and Dust” propelled them to worldwide fame. Bob Francis brought the album in, and spoke with Pamela Scott about how the album changed his perspective as he graduated high school and went to college.
Their discussion along with the complete album will air Saturday evening at 7 pm on The Inner Groove program.
